We are located in Kitchener Ontario as part of the Golden Technology Triangle (Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge). The Company was founded by Stanley G. Smallwood in 1945, originally manufacturing radio and television coils.

S.G. Smallwood Inc. specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of transformer and inductor components to exactly suit your circuit and product applications.

We offer a full complement of manufacturing capabilities: computer assisted design, toroidal winding, bobbin and layer winding, vacuum epoxy encapsulation, varnish impregnation, fabrication of specialized custom parts and comprehensive computerized product testing. Our Products are available in Custom, Standard and Equivalent designs. Available configurations include toroidal, ferrite, C-Core, and laminated EI UI core styles for 50/60Hz, 500Hz and
higher frequency applications to 1 MHz.
